Smart

I don't know which version of iTunes debuted this, but I only discovered the Smart Playlist this spring, and it is pretty smart.

My current favorite Smart Playlist pulls the 25 least played tracks of my musical theatre collection and is constantly updating itself. It just played "Man" from The Full Monty which made me nice and nostalgic for Scott and Andy last summer!
