At the risk of jinxing myself and my colleagues, I am happy to report that our techs have been going well. Yes, we've run into some troubles, but the challenges have been solved by level-headed troubleshooting and dialogue. None of the yelling I was warned about and prepared for. I don't know if it is a reflection on my production manager and myself and our level of ability or a commentary on the expectations following the winter showcase of which neither of us were a part, but my choreographers and guest stager all seem content.
I am fully prepared, having expressed this, for tomorrow's first dress to be a train wreck, though I am still optimistic.
