We're getting settled in slowly. Yesterday, I got the gas and electric transfered to my name, ordered cable, and looked at TV stands, shelves, and rugs. We managed to unpack the entire kitchen which had remarkably more room than we originally thought. However, some of Marianne's kitchen stuff is still at her old apartment (with some lamps and things we decided to leave behind to save time Saturday), so we'll see once that stuff arrives. I wonder if we'll even need that additional unit we talked about...
I hung some pictures on the walls yesterday--it's starting to look like "home." I'm hoping that we buy the TV stand I saw at Crate & Barrel tonight so we can set up the TV/VCR/XBox/DVDs/etc. And I'll find out by end of day today if I have to work Saturday and would therefore take Thursday off--in which case I will call the cable company and see if they have any availability so we don't have to wait an extra week.
I miss Mandy. I think I'll call and see if she wants to get brunch on Saturday.
