The Signature Room / Makes the Baby Go Blind

Julie and I went to the Signature Room on the 95th Floor of the John Hancock Building for the lunch buffet yesterday. It was super expensive, but very nice--the best Cosmopolitan either of us has ever had!--and a gorgeous 360-degree view of the the city!

We spent the rest of the afternoon on the Magnificent Mile looking in the Louis Vitton, Gucci, and Armani stores as well as going into Lord and Taylor, Marshall Fields, and VS.

And at 11:30 last night, we saw the Neo-Futurists performance of Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind. T.M.L.M.T.B.G.B. is an interesting theatrical event which showcases 30 plays in 60 minutes. There are new plays every week (how many new plays is decided by the roll of a die as is your admission price), and they're never in the same order (the order is determined by the audience calling out what number they'd like to see next based on the list of plays on their "menu"). It is a very energizing experience and even after the long day we'd had, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, participating like a good audience member. :) Anyone who comes to Chicagoland to visit me should see this show (and buy me expensive cosmos at the Signature Room--it's only a tiny bit more than the observatory charges for admission and you get to drink it!).
