Sigh. a much needed, bona fide day off.
things I did today:
slept in
opened 2 packages from Vinnie & Sarah
met some friends downtown for ice skating in Millenium Park (brrr!)
had drinks at the Signature Lounge
took in Herb's carousel exhibit at the old water tower on Michigan Ave
did a little shopping
talked to Shannon, Andrea, Mom & Dad, Vinnie, Sarah, and Julie (for about 3 hours) catching up on the past 4 weeks.
opened the packages my mother sent me before tour
balanced my checkbook
And now I'm going to bed early so I can get up and do laundry, study the 'Cracker, and write Christmas cards in the morning before hour call.
