Well, we signed our lease today and paid the rest of our deposit, so as of October 1st, the apartment is ours! Soule and Emily, who both work in the costume shop with Marianne, met us at the apartment (we showed them around) and the four of us went out for a nice dinner at Trattoria Gianni at 1711 N. Halsted. We sat outside, shared a bottle of wine, the food was excellent. It was a perfect end to the week.
Also, my supervisor and I were doing some problem-solving regarding schedules and tour and trying to minimize how much overtime our department would acrue, and I realized how well we work together--double-checking each other and bouncing ideas off one another... I felt like part of a team!
