Melt would flesh solid too too this that O.
Tonight I finished the book on CD I started in the car last weekend. I found it rather entertaining in a verrrrry light brit lit sort of way. I would certainly suggest it for long drives, but also I imagine it would make good kind-of-mindless summer reading. It was Jasper Fforde's Something Rotten. Particularly for my well-read friends, this one is chock-full of literary references (Hamlet's the obvious one but there were plenty more). Our heroine, Thursday Next, goes between her surreal alternate reality of 1988 and the fiction (and historical) world, both of which take a little getting used to. But it's a very smart and funny novel, a quick and fun read.
